Today in English I continued to read "Abomination" by Robert Swindells. This book is about a girl named Martha that is forced to keep a family secret. The author's purpose is to entertain the reader. The target audience are teens.

Today in English, I have been reading Abomination by Robert Swindells. This book is about a girl named Martha trying to keep her family's secret called Abomination. The author's purpose is to entertain the reader and also make them predict about what will happen at the end. The target audience are from 13 years old and above.

In English I chose to read "Facts Slides". Facts Slides is a website that has facts about everything. The author's purpose is to entertain the reader and tell them random facts they might not know. The target audience are for people of any age who want to read interesting facts. One thing I learned was the "Scooby Doo, where are you!" was originally called Who's S-S-Scared?

Deffusion

Aim: To find out what will happen to potassium permanganate (purple dye)  if put to a cold and hot water.

Hypothesis: I think that the purple dye will spread faster in hot water than in cold water.

Equipment: Petre dish,  potassium permanganate, cold water, hot water
