Warehouse

1982
When the first warehouse store was opened in Wairau road, Auckland.
1990
Became the first store to be distributed advertising mailer
nationally.
1991
Sales reached $100 million dollars.
Opened the first warehouse stationary.
1992
The first store with 25,000 square feet was opened.
Warehouse launched The Warehouse card.
The first 50,000 square feet  store was opened.
1995
NZSE40 Index added Warehouse.
Green gardening department was introduced.
1996
North Island Distribution Centre was opened.
The major AEG brand was introduced.
1997
The first 75,000 square feet store was introduced.
1998
when the parallel imported goods was first shipped.



The founder of the Warehouse was Stephen Tindall.
