It means: Relax, calm down.

b. 'He's driving me up the wall!'
It means: He's making me crazy.

c. 'His nose is out of joint'
It means: He is upset about something/someone.

d. The teacher is a real scream

It means: The teacher is hilarious

e. What is she cooking up in her mind right now?

It means: What is she thinking right now?

f. He gave her the eye.
It means: He looked at her.

My three examples:

He's a real clown - He's really funny.
This thing is lit! - This thing is amazing.
He killed it, dude! - He did it really well.
